Giampaolo Babetto - The jewellery project

Giampaolo Babetto was born in Padova (Italy) in 1947. He studied at the Pietro Selvatico Art Institute of Padua and the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. Since 1967, his work has been shown in Italy, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Great Britain, Japan and Usa. His works are part of the Pforzheim Museum collection. He lives and works in Arquà Petrarca (Padua).

"Geometric Jewellery"

Shifts and schedules: from Monday to Thursday from 9.30 to 12.30 and from 14.30 to 17.30
Duration: 30 hours
Cost: Euro 600,00 (vat included)

Agc members will qualify for a 10% reduction on the total cost

Lessons will be held in Italian and English

The course will be held with a maximum of 10 participants. Silver and other non-precious metals are included in the cost of the course.
If use of gold is desired by the participant, he/she will need to provide it.
A good technical level is required in order to take part in the course. Participants will need to bring their own equipment.

Programme
The aim of the course "geometric jewellery" is to make minimalist, geometric jewellery
With this aim, the first day will be dedicated to the search of inspiration relative to the subject matter.
Jewellery pieces will be made by means of taking photos of architecture, for example, and later extrapolating fragments from these.

Participants are invited to bring their own cameras, drawing material, colours and anything useful for the research activity.

colours: pencils, markers, watercolours
gold sheet: optional
assorted files: triangle, needle, half round, etc.
blades for saws of different sizes
pliers of different types
