AGC, Associazione Gioiello Contemporaneo, is a non-profit organization that was created to develop and promote the art of contemporary jewellery meant as:
AGC was founded in Trieste in June 2004 by a group of professionals to create new opportunities for the development and qualification of contemporary jewellery, aiming to promote a constructive and synergistic dialogue with the artistic and productive scenes on an international level.
AGC is open to practicing jewellers, artists, designers, craftsmen, gallery owners, critics, museum curators, journalists, collectors, teachers, schools, companies, foundations and cultural institutions and to anyone who wishes to take their knowledge in this field further.
AGC encourages and supports all initiatives aimed at the exchange of information, experimentation, training, establishing of connections among the members, both online through the community and in practice through work groups that freely get together to carry out projects, produce documents and develop specific themes.
AGC acts according to ethics that respect the individual and the environment, following a conceptual methodology dedicated to the improvement of the quality through the collation and study of results.
