Graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lecce, specialized in visual arts.
Francesca Mazzotta lives and works in Salento, in Puglia.
Her interests in art and design focuses particularly upon the world of eco-sustainability.
She uses natural materials such as paper, wood and clay for her creations.
Significant her participation in specialized courses that introduce the ancient techniques and new experimentations on the Leccese tradition of the papier-mâché, an ancient and well –known art in this area of Italy.
In 2009 she founds a brand of eco-friendly jewellery.
She is present at several design and fashion exhibitions: Macef (Homi-Milan), Operae (Turin), Salone Internazionale del Mobile (Milan), White (Milan), Fuorisalone (Milan).
She has chaired the delivery of the Medals for the Bodini award at the Book Fair in Turin in 2014 and at the Roman Theatre of Lecce (2014-2015).
